About Us

Hello! Thank you for visiting Sibba’s Sunshine Fabrics! Opening this shop was, quite literally, a dream of mine. I started sewing when I was 5 years old. My Mom taught me to make pillows and very simple doll clothes. I continued sewing as a hobby through the 4-H program. My love of sewing has continued grow and even more with the growing of my family. Now I get to sew for my grandkiddo’s and that brings me such joy! As they grow I can not wait to show and teach them about my joy of sewing as well as encourage them to follow there dreams.

My inspiration for opening this shop is actually three fold. First, was to honor the memory of my Mom. She would have loved the ability and options to shop online and grow her fabric stash. As an art teacher in a small school in Gold Beach Oregon she taught me the value of exploration and creativity. Second, was because of the grandkid’s. More specifically my grandson. I was struggling to find cute and quality knit fabric to make him clothes. Third, and probably of no surprise to those who know me, I love fabric! I love looking at, shopping for, touching, sewing and “collecting” fabric. So, I am loving the search for cute, pretty, and whimsical fabrics for all ages to share with with my family and each of you.
